What is Bud Candy?
Give your plants a burst of energy when they need it most, boosting their flower power. Bud Candy® stands out by combining a premium blend of carbohydrates with magnesium to create optimal conditions for enhancing flower growth and desired aromas.
Carbohydrates provide ideal conditions for expanding roots and achieving high yields by feeding beneficial microbes.
Magnesium supports chlorophyll production, enhancing photosynthetic capability.
Bud Candy® is specifically designed for use in various hydroponic growing environments and continuous liquid feeding systems such as aeroponics, drip irrigation and emitters, NFT, flood and drain, deep water culture, soil, and coco.
NOTE: Bud Candy® is compatible with all pH Perfect Base Nutrients as well as all non-pH Perfect Base Nutrients and supplements, and all competitor Base Nutrients and supplements.
IMPORTANT: Advanced Nutrients does not use paclobutrazol, daminozide, or any other banned plant growth regulators in our products.
What Does Bud Candy Do?
- Enhanced taste
- Improved aroma
- Accelerated growth
- Higher yields
- Better quality harvests
Will the New Bud Candy® Organic Formula Work Well if I Use Mineral Nutrients?
Yes, Bud Candy is 100% organic, making it perfect for organic programs. It also boosts your flowers when you use synthetic nutrients.
Should I Continue Using Big Bud and Carboload with Bud Candy to Achieve Larger Flowers?
Our flowering system combines Big Bud and Bud Candy during specific periods of the flowering stage because the two formulas complement each other for greater flower size and quality. Bud Candy contains the potent sugars found in CarboLoad, saving you from needing to use CarboLoad. Using these two formulas together will maximize flower growth.
Can I Use Bud Candy® as a Foliar Spray?
Bud Candy is a root zone formula quickly absorbed by roots to build stronger roots and create bigger, sweeter flowers. It is not designed to be used as a foliar spray.
How to Use Bud Candy®
Use 2 mL per 1 liter from the first week until harvest.
Components and Their Effects on Plants
Guaranteed Analysis:
Magnesium (Mg): 0.5%
Function: Magnesium is a key component of chlorophyll and is essential for photosynthesis. It plays a significant role in energy production and supports the growth and development of plants.
Effect: Plants deficient in magnesium exhibit chlorosis (leaf yellowing). Adequate magnesium levels ensure plants are greener and healthier, enhancing photosynthesis.
0.5% Water Soluble Magnesium (Mg)
Provides magnesium in a form that can be quickly absorbed by plants, ensuring rapid effectiveness.
Derived From: Magnesium nitrate
Also Contains Non-Plant Food Ingredients:
D-Galactose (0.5%)
Function: Acts as microbial food. Enhances soil microbial activity, which improves nutrient uptake by plants.
Effect: Better root development and overall plant health. Microbial activities help plants absorb more nutrients from the soil.
D-Ribose (7%)
Function: Acts as microbial food. Ribose is crucial for energy production and cellular functions.
Effect: Supports plant growth by enhancing soil microbial activities. Improves energy metabolism and makes plant cells work more efficiently.
D-Xylose (1%)
Function: Acts as microbial food. Xylose is a component of plant cell walls and strengthens cell structure.
Effect: Strengthens cell walls, enhancing mechanical resistance of plants. Supports microbial activity, improving plant growth and health.
Glucose (4%)
Function: Acts as microbial food. Glucose is a primary energy source for plants.
Effect: Increases soil microbial activity and plant energy. The presence of glucose promotes root development and overall plant growth.
Maltose (1.6%)
Function: Acts as microbial food. Maltose plays a significant role in the energy metabolism of plants.
Effect: Enhances energy production, improving plant growth and health. Maltose supports soil microbial populations, increasing nutrient uptake by plants.
These components work together to optimize plant growth and development. Magnesium allows plants to perform photosynthesis and produce energy, helping plants stay healthy. Microbial foods enhance soil microbial activities, improving nutrient uptake and overall plant health. This way, plants grow healthier and achieve higher yields.
