What is CarboLoad?
CarboLoad® is the perfect complement to your root mass expanders. It nourishes beneficial microbes in the root zone, enhances nutrient absorption, and contributes to achieving a productive yield. A special blend of complex carbohydrates derived from gum extract is combined with a carefully selected menu of simple carbohydrates to provide your plants with an optimal energy source that will help produce larger flowers.
- Glucose and xylose support optimal terpene synthesis for buds filled with essential oils.
- Microbes love carbohydrates, which in turn promotes optimal nutrient absorption from the root zone.
The success of CarboLoad is built on our 22-year reputation among the industry's leading growers. When we introduced CarboLoad to the world, growers finally had a solution specifically tailored for their plants. A complete growing system where the conditions are optimized to match your plant's unique genetic structure at every stage of growth.
CarboLoad provides simple and complex carbohydrates in the right amount and profile that match the plant’s needs, enhancing the flowering phase. Particularly, plants use carbohydrate reserves to produce fruit during the critical flowering stage, and CarboLoad is designed specifically to boost yields.
Why Do I Need a Carbohydrate Supplement if Plants Already Produce Their Own Sugar Reserves?
Photosynthesis is the process by which plants use sunlight to produce sugar (carbohydrates). Six water molecules and six carbon dioxide molecules produce one sugar molecule and six oxygen molecules. It’s clear that environmental conditions and the amount of available light determine the amount of sugar the plant will produce. This energy is used by the plant to maintain biological functions; any excess is stored in the plant. Supplementing with CARBOLOAD ensures adequate carbohydrate levels during the flowering stage to produce larger flowers and thus larger yields. If used, CARBOLOAD also provides nutrients for our beneficial cultures.
Can I Use White or Baking Sugar Instead of CARBOLOAD®?
You can use basic sugars (and if you've used any competitor’s products, you probably have), but only if you’re not interested in optimal growth. CarboLoad was created after our R&D department identified the five very specific simple and complex carbohydrate ratios that our favorite plants use.
Is CARBOLOAD® Harmful to Beneficial Microorganisms?
Quite the opposite. CARBOLOAD is a food source for microorganisms, helping to establish healthy, more productive colonies of these beneficial microbes.
Can I Use CARBOLOAD® During the Vegetative Stage?
Yes, CarboLoad can be used throughout the plant’s entire growth cycle.
What Does CARBOLOAD® Do?
- Your root zone absorbs bud-enhancing nutrients, optimizing conditions for your plants to add mass.
- Glucose and xylose increase terpene production, creating optimal conditions for sweet and potent flowers.
- It instantly energizes your plants, allowing them to focus on robust flower growth rather than producing their own carbohydrates.
- Your plants can store extra carbohydrates in their energy reserves, providing ample fuel for use during flowering and maturation.
How to Use CarboLoad?
Dosage: 2 ml per liter of water. 200 ml for 100 liters. Water with the nutrient solution at every feeding.
Ingredients and Their Effects on Plants
12% Glucose
- Function: Glucose is a simple sugar and a fundamental energy source for plants. It plays a crucial role in photosynthesis, where it is produced and then utilized for various metabolic processes.
- Effect: Glucose supports the energy needs of plants, promoting vigorous growth and development. It enhances root and shoot development, supports cellular activities, and can improve overall plant health and productivity. Additionally, glucose acts as a food source for beneficial microbes in the root zone, enhancing microbial activity and nutrient uptake.
8% Xylose
- Function: Xylose is a type of sugar that plants can use for energy. It is less common than glucose but still plays a role in plant metabolism and growth.
- Effect: Xylose supports the synthesis of important plant compounds, including terpenes, which are crucial for the aroma and flavor profile of the plant’s flowers. By providing an additional energy source, xylose helps enhance the production of essential oils and other secondary metabolites, leading to better-quality flowers with improved potency and aroma. Like glucose, xylose also supports beneficial microbial activity in the root zone, promoting a healthy and productive root environment.
