It is a known fact that certain beneficial microbes work better in some plants than in others. That's why we spend so much time and money on our breeding program. We are trying to find the needle in the haystack that gives the absolute best results for the plants you are growing.
Our scientists demand that we purchase all the expensive, sensitive equipment required to identify the special qualities of each microbial strain and their compatibility with each other, making them "Super Strains". This is why our microbes also reproduce extremely quickly, rapidly colonizing root zones for fast results (Yes, we test fast and slow-reproducing microbes).
Voodoo Juice is NOT outsourced. We are the only hydroponic nutrient company in the world that produces all our microbial products in-house, with a full-time Ph.D. microbiologist personally overseeing all aspects of production. (This is also true for our Piranha and Tarantula root zone products)
Each type of microbe is grown separately in a custom-built 10,000-liter fermenter (not in a batch of barrels or vats). This is a very critical and time-consuming step, but necessary because different types of beneficial microbes reproduce at different rates, and we need to ensure full homogeneity and maximum colony-forming units (CFUs). After the fermentation process, the microbes are taken to an evaporation tower for drying, and then all eight strains in Voodoo Juice are carefully recombined.
The microbes in Voodoo are put into dormancy with an "antagonist" compound that keeps them asleep until you mix Voodoo Juice into a nutrient reservoir, ensuring Voodoo Juice has a very long shelf life and superior viability.
